The theme of this article is the value of raising young people to think, explore and make meaning for themselves. the same way we can make teaches think and make meaning for themselves when they enroll in a computer course. Today, our classroom are flooded with infotective students. Perhaps becasue theyare provided with the tools from home.Teachers here at the Univeristy come from school with little or no knowledge ofthe usage ofcomputer and its many function. Today, we have teachers in this informational technology class who are learning a lot. We are next to be the new infotectives in town.

"Teachers as infotectives" is a statement in which all educators should identify themselves. An eudcators is the one that keeps on learning every single day of their life especially in the area of technology. Teachers should be eager to get the recent and most accurate resource in technology to be efficient and effective in their teaching. The only way to inform effective our students is informing us first.

The idea of "Teachers as infotectives" is to have them become capable of solving problems,enhancing creativity and independent thinkers - that was once done with the guidance of the lecturer. This in turn, will help teachers to assist students at school.

In an earlier day, the teaching seemed to be more difficult because of the lack of resources and little information. Clearly these conditions are a thing of the past, there has emerged a lot now with the technology that teachers should take of advantage of. a wide range of information is being placed infront of our eyes that we can easily have access to it and make teaching more interesting and exciting. However, it is still the teacher owns point of view that will make a tremendously important contribution to the development of the student learning.

Infotective teachers are responisble to guide the students to become effective critical thinkers. There is no use to give a difficult task to students that are uncapable to handle, however, it has to be relevant to what they know but at the same time a bit challenging.

Infotective teachers are those capable of analyzing data to make it useful information that will eventually lead to insight. This skill is very important for teachers so that they are able to teach students to also be infotective. If children don't know how to use internet data then when researching they will end up with a lot of irrelevant information.

Whatever data they collect it is transformed into information which in turn is disseminated to the students. Teachers as infotectives try new technologies in using the best teaching strategies in order to meet different individual learning needs.

It is important that teachers become critical thinkers or infotectives. In the society we are living today, there are many children who come from well educated families and are being prepared at home before coming to school. If teachers do not prepare themselves properly and acquire the necessary skills to analyze data, and screen and sort out data, teachers might looked upon as "loosers."
Therefore, as teachers it is important to become infotectives in order to sort out and screen out information necessary to relate current and vital information to our students.

As educator we should be able to think logically and reasonably so that we can be able to express and teach student properly and make them understand us clearly with out difficulties.
