Computer related technologies enhance learning for all students when used appropriately. These technologies also help teachers to be informed about new and innovative teaching and learning strategies and cater for individual differences. Parents can also assist their children at home by exposing them to background information and build up their previous knowledge. For example, ultimedia computer games are effective ways to teach information through play.

Information technology is one of the great advancements of the past century. As we have seen, computer related technologies have provide us with the easy accessibility of information that was difficult to access before. For students, it has made it easier for them to do secondary research without much hassle, but there is still a level of crapping of material that is online. So computer related technologies have the ability to aid and further extend the knowledge of the student and as well as the teacher.

Computer related technologies allows both teacher and students to get a first hand learning experience on topics that were not well understood before. Computer related technologies also allows for further research on topics or clarification on ideas or philosophies not well understood. Teacher can do so much with pen and paper in the classroom, when computers and computer related technology is factored into the equation the level of success and accomplishments that can be achieved is over whelming. I am of the firm belief that what I am doing at this very moment is a firm example of how out stretch the reach of a computer really is. As long as students are guided in the right direction with regards to the use of computers there is so much that can be expected of them.

For approximately the last one hundred years, people lived without any advanced conveniences. I cannot imagine how miserable and unhappy people's lives were. Since the first computer was invented fifty years ago, our quality of life and happiness have increased.
