1. Belize is behind in technology integration because of the lack of resources. In other countries the government invests a lot in technology. They work hard and make sure that schools use technology in the classroom. They equip these schools with computers and they even provide them with internet. These children have the opportunity to use technology in their everyday school work. On the other hand in Belize only the high schools and the tertiary institutions have computers. computers are not used in the primary schools. The government is not investing nor has any project for technology integration in the school.

2.) Power point is very useful to use in the classroom, provided that the school or the teacher has a computer. Power point presentations take a lot of time but if it is used properly it is beneficial because children can use their viewing, reading and listening skills. Video clips, animations, and graphics can make power points very interesting and are things that can be easily downloaded from the internet.
